The publisher and care destination

SMILE-FX® is the publisher and the Miramar care destination. AI assisted the writing and implementation. This guide does not claim a named clinician's review of its educational text.

The following care information describes the practice's general offerings and policies. It provides the broader orthodontic context; the manufacturer teaching examples elsewhere in this guide do not identify clinic inventory or an individual's prescription.

Doctor-led care, from planning through follow-ups

At SMILE-FX®, board-certified orthodontists see every patient, including at follow-up visits. Clinical director Dr. Tracy Miao Liang leads a full-service Miramar practice with a digitally driven clear-aligner focus. Your goals, proposed appliance and continuing care belong in an explanation you can understand.

Understand the proposed plan

AI-assisted precision planning supports your orthodontist's work. Before-and-after smile-preview simulations give you a view of proposed changes, so you can point to what you understand or want explained. A simulation illustrates the plan; it is not a promised result.

Low-dose 3D CBCT imaging supports clinical assessment, detection of findings and treatment planning when indicated. The information helps your orthodontist connect the findings with an explanation of the proposed approach.

Stay connected between visits

Smartphone and iPhone monitoring comes standard with braces and aligner plans. You can send progress information from home between visits for clinical review. Remote monitoring also helps flag issues such as broken brackets or aligners that are not tracking, with the clinical team evaluating what needs attention.

With 24/7 access to provider support, you have a contact route when a question or concern arises. Responses are handled through the clinical team's care arrangements, keeping access to support distinct from a promise of an instant reply.

Connect your plan with practical continuing care

SMILE-FX® makes in-house 3D-printed aligners and offers same-day aligner and retainer options. That connects doctor-led planning with a local fabrication route. Your prescribed appliance and individual arrangements determine which option is used.

For continuing care, SMILE-FX® can ship course-correction aligners to your home. Rescue aligner care provides a doctor-led route for people seeking help with a prior aligner course. Course corrections and Rescue arrangements are set individually alongside the clinical plan.

Custom 3D-printed bracket options are also part of the practice's range. Their off-site manufacturing is separate from local aligner and retainer fabrication, so the appliance and its production route stay clear in your discussion.

Care policies confirmed by SMILE-FX®: local fabrication and same-day options, individually arranged home course-correction shipments and Rescue care, and separately manufactured custom brackets. The links below provide service information and general patient resources.

Understand your options and included care

SMILE-FX® offers Invisalign and OrthoFX, including AirFlex, alongside night-time aligner options. The range gives you specific choices to discuss, while your orthodontist determines the system and wear instructions for your individual plan. Commercial systems and in-house appliances have their own production routes.

Fixed and removable retainers plus whitening are included at SMILE-FX®. These benefits belong in the full treatment conversation and written proposal, alongside the active appliance and continuing-care arrangements.

At-home and in-office whitening options give a separate color goal its own place in planning. The appropriate method and personal arrangements are decided individually; the availability of both modes does not mean every person receives both.

How the product examples are grounded

The history and latex-label discussion uses the ADA's professional explanation. The product lessons use identified Invisalign, Essix ACE and In-Ovation X manufacturer instructions. Sources were inspected for this guide on October 24, 2026.

The Invisalign filename identifies 207020 Rev D; no latest-label claim is made. The Essix ACE example is Rev.08, issued October 2025. The In-Ovation X example is Rev.02, issued March 2017, and is explicitly a dated label-reading example. A product's warning remains attached to that product and document.

What the worked examples represent

The administrative notes and transition packets are fictional teaching examples. They contain no patient account, exposure story, test result, testimonial or treatment outcome. Their purpose is to finish an interpretation of the supplied information.

A source statement and the guide's reading of its scope are kept together. The three teaching chapters develop history fidelity, separate product/component subjects and the next-product handoff into retention. The neighboring guides retain their own explanations of appearance, offering names and retainer designs.
